Course: M.B.A, (Master of Business Administration)  Duration: 2 years

The Department of "Management Studies" was established in the year 2008, in the College, as an exclusive Department with 120 intake capacity. A graduate with a broader picture of business is often the best person for the new economy workplace. There are also a wide range of career opportunities available in different aspects of administration and management within MNC's and blue- chip companies. These include head office functions in large multinational companies as well as trainee management positions in service and public sector organizations.

The course structure is designed to impart knowledge of  the core management concepts and techniques in the first year which are, thereafter, upgraded to advanced knowledge and practicing skills in the areas of specialization as follows:

• Finance & Marketing
• Human Resources Management
• Systems and operations

The course has access to enhance the learning experience and student perspective, to develop specialization in areas of leadership qualities and decision making abilities. Classroom learning is complemented by projects and hands-on experiences, so as to foster

The Department strives to develop long term relationships with industries and market the Students Talents effectively; the students are thus provided high level leads and career pathways that enable them to gain access to a broad range of high potential MBA Career Opportunities.

The faculty members are highly qualified and well experienced. The faculty members impart their knowledge and skills to the students to achieve the goals of the department.
The management provides constant support for the faculty members to upgrade their knowledge by sponsoring them to attend seminars, conferences, and faculty development programmes.
The faculty members are encouraged to publish articles in national and international journals. The management encourages the faculty members to pursue higher education like doctoral programme and provides incentives for faculty who achieve excellent result in the
university examinations.
The department has organized many programmes for the benefit of students and faculty members. It also encourages students to participate various events like seminars, conferences, symposium etc., which helps them to update knowledge and gain rich experiences. A dedicated, full-time placement wing is working for the purpose of providing training and placement for the students. The placement cell is active in bringing experts from the industry to facilitate interaction between the industry and institution, training them so as to be readily acceptable to the corporate sector and infusing the right attitude towards professional career.
